These methanol-fueled engines are customizable into a variety of configurations to suit your needs. Pricing is therefore indicative but will vary based on your choices. Some differently equipped engines from this family are shown in the photo set to illustrate that point.
3,500 hp is an amazing amount of power to extract from 454 cubic inches. To do so reliably, puts you into the realm of methanol-fueled, billet aluminum blocks. We have used and qualified both Energy and Noonan billet blocks for this level of build. Our normal practice is to stick with one supplier, but in today's uncertain supply situation that no longer works. The 4.250 inch billet cranks are another long lead time item, so we have qualified both Callies and Winberg. Given the uncertain supply situation for parts (and everything else), please call for current lead times as we may or may not have all key parts in stock.
Our engine dyno is rated to 2,500 hp so we do break-in dynos either naturally aspirated or at lower than design-level boost. Once the engines are installed, they'd shred the tires on a chassis dyno. Hub dynos this big are few and far between.
The customer whose new engine is shown in the lead photo was able to get his Camaro on such a hub dyno at Prospeed in Houston TX with his previous 3,000 hp rated powerplant and aired it out. Running 44 psi boost, he hit 2,740hp at the wheels as reported by Muscle Cars & Truck.

- Emtron engine management system
As stated above, this engine comes with an Emtron engine management system. The high processor speed and capabilities of this unit allow unprecedented control over all aspects of the engine's functions. This is particularly useful in allowing you to precisely and continuously control boost and torque while layering on features to enhance engine performance and protection. The wiring harness is also built to a much higher level to minimize electrical interference and withstand the rigors of competition.

- All BRE engines are individually dyno tested and tuned. Customers will be supplied with video of their engine's dyno along with the dyno and build sheets.
