Callies Performance is our primary supplier of cranks and rods.  We use them because we believe they offer the best performance for the money and they work.  Callies offer three levels of cranks, namely Compstar, Magnum and Ultra (billet).

This 4.250 inch stroke Magnum crank is forged in the USA from ultra-pure Timken 4340 steel alloy.  It uses a 2 piece rear seal and has standard rod and main journal dimensions of 2.200 and 2.750 inches respectively.  It is cammed for a 6.385 inch rod length.  These cranks feature gun drilled mains and 8 full counterweights. 

We pair these Magnum cranks with Callies Ultra rods, Dart Big M blocks and Diamond pistons for our big-power BBC engine builds as explained in the video below:
