Dart’s PRO1 LS7 cylinder head takes performance to the next level with much higher strength and air flow than factory designs. These heads are intended to be paired with an aftermarket 6-bolt block with a minimum bore size of 4.125". The 6-bolt design allows for much higher clamping force. That clamping force can be further increased by machining both the block and heads for 1/2" head studs. Both standard and Jesel rocker configurations are available.
The Dart PRO1 cylinder head retains stock valve angles, stock valve locations and stock valve train mounting with dowel holes to make installation easy and durable.
We purchase these heads as porter castings and finish-machine them on our state-of-the art CNCs. The proprietary port designs we impart with our Rottler 5-axis CNC are not the same as Dart's or any other vendor. Our Newen CNC seat and guide machine does valve jobbing and bowl blending in a single high-precision operation. See both the Newen and the Rottler at work in the videos down below.
