This 1,000 FWHP rated custom transmission comes with some unique features that will perfectly compliment your naturally aspirated Borowski LS engine equipped with a Holley Terminator X-Max. This kit has everything you will need to get on the road.

TORQUE CONVERTER
This 9 inch torque converter with lock up is selected specifically for our naturally aspirated LS engines in vehicles weighing less than 3,900 lbs. We have shared the cam specs and dyno results with Hughes Performance to get a perfect pairing. Have a 4,000 pounder? No problem. We will switch out this converter for a 10.5" unit ($165 upcharge).
TRANSMISSION FLUID
3 x six quarts of Hughes Performance Lucas Oil Sure-Shift automatic transmission fluid is a semi-synthetic blend of high-quality base stocks and synthetics, combined with a special additive package not found in other ATFs. It's formulated with extra detergents and anti-wear agents for longer fluid life and less component wear. It's designed to withstand high temperatures and high pressures without thinning or foaming; contains lubricity agents for smooth, precise shifting and was developed to give smooth, precise shifts needed by drag racers

- This kit is designed for LS engines but are available for other types of engines as well. Please call us at 815-725-2727.
- A $200 core charge and freight will be billed separately
- We only inventory the slip-on yoke version. Bolt-on yokes are special orders that will be shipped directly from Hughes Performance. Please call.
- Our LS engines typically come with Holley Terminator X-Max engine management systems. These will also control the transmission thereby eliminating the need for separate trans-controller. Hughes Performance has a great stand-alone unit if you need one. (call for details)
