When you are pushing >2,000 horse at the flywheel, you want to make sure that things don't start coming apart! A Dart's LS Next2 block let's you lay on the boost with confidence. 

The LS Next2 blocks come from Dart with larger main caps (see photos) are secured with 1/2" studs. The upgraded studs alone provide 50% more clamping force compared to the standard 7/16" studs. They are available with either 2.750" mains or LS standard 2.55" main diameters, and in either iron or aluminum. The larger main diameter reduces flexing of the crank. This in turn reduces stress on the bottom end, particularly benefiting aluminum blocks.

We machine all these blocks for 1/2" head studs. If you need 1/2" main studs, you'll need 1/2" head studs. We can also optionally machine for oversize lifters, fire rings, piston oilers and Jesel belt drives.

• Cylinder Bore Diameters: 4.000", 4.125"
• Deck Height: 9.240", 9.450" and 9.750" (aluminum only)
• Lifter Bore Diameter: 0.842"
