Borowski Race Engines will have two amazing cars on our Booth 409 at PRI 2023 and run a series of 10 Facebook Lives events.  In addition, there are show specials on billet LS builds, Dart block machining and our new 733 hp, 555 cubic inch, fuel injected big block Chevy engine.  Watch the video or read the text version below for more details.  Hope to see you either in-person or online at the show!

PRI is the most important annual event in the racing industry. It will be held this year at the Indiana Convention Center from December 7th through the 9th. Our industry has had a wild ride for the last three years. PRI 2020 was cancelled due to COVID. The last two years have been a struggle with inflation, supply chain disruption and labor shortages although these issues now seem to be abating. These externalities forced all players to adapt. Despite our focus on parts inventory, Borowski Race Engines endured some long outages on key components.

Our product-based countermeasures included self-manufacture, qualifying new suppliers and broadening our product scope beyond LS into other popular American V8 engines. From a marketing perspective we increased our penetration into the airboat, off-road and the billet engine markets.

Our PRI 2022 was great, but PRI 2023 will be better and here’s why. We will have two awesome cars on display. Marcus Carew will debut his newly-built 1963 Chevy II with its twin-turbocharged billet LS.

He will be joined by Ted Higginbottom and M2K Motorsports’ C4 Vette. It features a destroked, turbocharged LS designed to set a new land-speed record in the 300 cubic inch or less class at Bonneville.

They will be doing Facebook Lives on our booth at 9:30 and 11:30 am Thursday respectively. We have an All Star lineup for Facebook Lives from there continuing with Build Tune Race’s James Schauer at 1:30 who’ll tell us about his 7 second Gen 4 Camaro build.

James is followed by Bullseye Turbo’s Bill Devine with motorsports media icon Jason Riess. They’ll discuss Bill’s PDRA race season running his billet small block Ford.

On Friday, starting at 9:30 our Tim Zapp will talk about the new engine designs he has either recently rolled out or are coming soon.

At 11:30, All Pro Cylinder Heads’ Bob Williams will be there to talk about his solid and water LS heads as displayed on the Chevy II and C4 respectively. The scene shifts at 1:30 to Racing Junk’s booth for the winner selection of the BRE 700 hp LS giveaway engine.

We are back on our booth at 3:30 with John McGhee of Cutaway Creations Racing who’ll tell us how his customer have been doing with their various LS and LT engines.

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Saturday morning opens at 9:30 with David Ankin, star of the TV series ToyMakerz. We are hoping for news on his new TV series Fast Society and learn about his latest car build.
